I am an artist devoted to ceramic art, especially sculpturing and narrative ceramics occupy me. I am a storyteller and the stories just keep developing in me. The stories are often based on my reflections of the everyday grind, human interaction in relation to what happens in society. The contemporary identity, social norms and the dramas going on in the intimate sphere, are matters I’m greatly interested in. I find it fascinating to create something new out of existing elements. I often use second-hand materials and gadgets as basic forms, which I make casts of and place in a new context in my ceramic works. I am fascinated by how readily otherwise worthless stuff gets a new value through the ceramic material and as part of a completely different story.
